On September 19th, the ISA Liwan International Primary Years community came together for an engaging Curriculum Night prepared specifically for the parents of our primary school students. This event provided an invaluable opportunity for parents to gain insights into the educational framework that shapes their children’s learning experiences here at ISA Liwan International Primary Years.

活动由小学部校长Patricia Pope的热情致辞拉开帷幕。她向家长们详细介绍了小学课程的结构和发展历程，重点讲解了学校的核心价值观和教育理念，这些理念指导着我们的教学方法，确保每个学生都能在爱莎荔湾获得全方位的进步，并取得优异的学术成绩。
The evening commenced with a warm welcome from our Primary Principal Ms. Patricia Pope, who shared an overview of the structure and development of our primary school curriculum. This presentation highlighted the core values and educational philosophies that guide our teaching methodologies, ensuring that every student can progress and achieve academic excellence.

在校长的演讲结束后，家长们有机会与孩子的班主任面对面交流。这一环节尤为重要，帮助家长更清楚地了解到我们在语文、数学、英语以及探究单元（UOI）等学科中如何实施教学。各科老师详细讲解了课程目标、教学策略和评估方式。这种开放的沟通方式不仅拉近了家校距离，也让家长更加明确如何在家中支持孩子的学习成长。此外，家长们还与各单科教师进行了深入交流，进一步了解学校在全面培养孩子方面的努力。
Following the principal’s address, parents had the chance to meet with their children’s homeroom teachers. This segment of the evening was particularly beneficial, as it allowed parents to delve deeper into how we implement our curriculum across various subjects, including Chinese, Math, English, and Units of Inquiry (UOI). Teachers provided detailed explanations of the curriculum objectives, teaching strategies, and assessment methods used in their classrooms. This open dialogue fostered a collaborative atmosphere, enabling parents to understand better how they can support their children’s learning at home. There was also an opportunity for parents to meet with our single-subject teachers to learn more about the subjects that support their children’s holistic development.
