  • Has been teaching for 38 years, of which 25 years focus on IB education. He has worked in IB schools in Guangdong and Jiangsu successively, and served as the Deputy Head and Head of K-12 IB schools for nearly 10 years. He is also one of the first group of IBDP Examiners in China.
  • A research scholar at the President's Center at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a research scholar on Presidential Leadership at the University College London School of Education.
  • In 2018, he won the China's Most Influential International School Principal, and in 2019, he won the Sina Education International Talent Training Demonstration Award.
  • Under his leadership, students have consistently achieved admission to top universities worldwide, including the UK's G5 universities (Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London, UCL, and Edinburgh) and Ivy League institutions like Yale, Stanford, Chicago, Columbia, NYU, and Johns Hopkins.

  • Holds a BEd (Hons) in Art and Design from Lancaster University and the UK National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH). He brings over 30 years of educational experience, including 24 years in international school leadership and 18 years in China. His distinguished background includes serving as Founding Head of Primary at the British School of Beijing and Principal of the British School of Guangzhou for 14 years, during which he guided its expansion from 175 to 1,500 students across four new campuses.
  • Since 2022, Mr Mark served as Director of the ISA International Education Group’s European Office, recruiting top-tier global talent. Returning to Guangzhou, he now leads ISA Liwan, dedicated to fostering a holistic, creative, and academically rigorous learning community.

  • Chris is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education at the University of Bath. He holds two master’s degrees and brings over 20 years of international teaching experience across Singapore, China, Dubai and Australia. With a strong understanding of the IB continuum, he has previously served at schools including ISS International School Singapore and Emirates International School – Jumeirah.
  • Chris is an MYP/DP workshop leader, CIS & WASC International School accreditation team lead and DP Music and TOK examiner.
  • Chris has also held multiple management roles and has extensive experience in student support, parent communication and staff management. In addition, she has conducted broad research into positive psychology and student wellbeing.
  • Chris has successfully guided students to top universities across the US, UK, Singapore and Australia, including New York University, the University of California, Berkeley, the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, University College London, the London School of Economics and Political Science, Vanderbilt University and the University of Hong Kong.

  • JC graduated from the University of London, majoring in accounting and finance. 
  • In the past 15 years, he has been serving in international schools and has rich teaching management experience. He has served as Director of Student Life, Deputy Principal, Dean of Students, Head of Mathematics Department from his former experiences. 
  • The accounting and mathematics courses he taught has achieved Top in the World for both IGCSE and A Levels. 
  • As an educator and administrator with a passion in Character development, he places strong emphasis on the individual growth of students as he believes that each and every individual has something in them, and it is the duty of educators to help and motivate them in their path to search and achieve it.

  • Mr. Fowler holds a BA in Geography from King’s College London and completed his PGCE at Oxford Brookes University. With nearly fifteen years of leadership experience in China, he brings a deep understanding of both international and Chinese educational contexts.
  • Mr. Fowler previously held senior leadership roles at Wellington College in the UK, one of the country’s top IB and IGCSE/A-Level schools, where he served as Head of Department, Boarding Housemaster, Head of Year, and Deputy Director of IB. In 2011, he moved to China to help establish and lead Wellington’s first overseas campus, serving as both Deputy Head and Head of School. He later gained valuable experience in blending Chinese and Western educational approaches while overseeing the foreign teaching team at a Sino-Canadian school in Guizhou, before joining an IB Continuum school in Suzhou as MYP Coordinator and whole-school Principal. In 2022, he received a Forbes China Award for his leadership, and his Senior Leadership Team was recognised as outstanding by the Suzhou Education Bureau.
