  • Patricia holds an MA in Education from the University of Sunderland and is currently pursuing her second master’s in leadership and management through the University of Bath.
  • Patricia has had over 20 years’ experience in IB schools in Singapore, China and the United States.
  • Prior to ISA Liwan, Patricia was employed by the Canadian International School of Singapore as the Vice Principal of Primary for international bilingual programs.
  • As an experienced IBEN educator, Patricia has been an IB Workshop.
  • Leader, Schools Consultant and Site Visit Team Member for over 8 years. As a school leader, she has worked with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and has extensive experience in leading in a cross-cultural context.

  • 17 years of teaching and school leadership experience and holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Nanyang Technological University, a Master's degree in Crosscultural Communication from University of Sydney and a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education. He was immersed in a multilingual learning environment from an early age in Singapore, and living in a multicultural society shaped his global outlook as a teacher and school leader.
  • As an educator, he is committed to igniting that curiosity within our students so that they become inquirers and independent learners. As a school leader, he is committed to working with our faculty to ensure that the learning environment is safe, nurturing and progressive for all students. As an IB Workshop Leader and PYP Programme Leader, he is fully committed to the IB mission in developing compassionate lifelong learners who can make this world a better place.

  • 25 years of teaching experience in international schools, including 1 year in teaching abroad as a homeroom teacher.
  • 17 years of pedagogical leadership experience, successively serving as the subject coordinator, director of teaching, PYP coordinator, academic deputy principal, etc. In 2005, she served as PYP project coordinator, leading the team to boldly explore, constantly innovate, and finally achieved the authorization of the earliest batch of schools in mainland China, and successfully explored a road of integration of national curriculum and international curriculum.
  • In 2013, she became IBAP workshop leader, school consultant and school visiting team leader, and was invited to participate in the compilation of the official research document “The CNC and The PYP”. Since then, she has not only visited famous IB international schools at home and abroad, but also led various workshops in Malaysia, the United States and China.

Tim worked across many Australian government and private schools before moving to China, and he is a firm believer in building close relationships with each of his students. He successfully completed his teaching degree at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, and is currently pursuing his PHD in International Studies at James Cook University in Queensland, Australia.

  • Originally from Toronto, Canada, Mr. Ezrin is an outdoor enthusiast who loves to explore our world. As a committed lifelong learner, Mr. Ezrin is always pursuing new learning opportunities; in the past two years, Mr. Ezrin has completed training in Philosophy for Children, mindfulness, and oracy education. Inquiry and reflection energize and inspire his teaching practice.
  • After completing his Bachelor of Education at the University of Toronto, Mr. Ezrin went on to teach at private and international schools in Taipei and Shenzhen. In these roles, Mr. Ezrin developed curriculum and assessments, led professional learning for other staff, and oversaw co-curricular programs. While completing his Master of Education in curriculum and instruction from the University of Victoria, Mr. Ezrin focused on language and literacy instruction, so he brings a depth of professional knowledge as well as extensive experience to his teaching.
  • Mr. Ezrin believes in putting learners at the center and building a caring, inclusive classroom community. Students must take agency in their own learning, practice collaboration and teamwork, and learn effective communication skills. Mr. Ezrin's students are engaged, empowered, and inquisitive, and his role is to guide students to reflect on where they are, where they are going, and how to get there.

  • Having graduated in Applied Ecology, he has always believed in the value of applying knowledge, not just learning theory. He follows this philosophy every day as an English as an additional language teacher (EAL).
  • Taught for 2 years in the public sector in Korea, before moving to Guangzhou to work in the private sector in 2012. I returned to the public sector when I joined ISALW in 2022.
  • As an educator, He tries to make students want to use English not make it seem like a chore.

  • From Manchester, UK and has worked in English language teaching for over 12 years.
  • Having spent 5 years teaching children in South Korea, Michael came to China in 2015 and began teaching English in a world famous education centre. During his time in China, Michael has taught students aged 2 up to the age of 18. Michael's experience also covers working as an educational manager and teacher trainer, helping to develop over 20 teachers.
  • Holds a Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language and a Diploma in English Language Teaching Management from Trinity College London. He is currently studying a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) at the University of Cumbria. Having experience of working and traveling in so many countries and working with a diverse range of people, Michael has become adaptable in his teaching and his life.

  • Born and raised in Chicago, USA. He loves watching the Chicago sports teams. He’s lived in his favorite city Guangzhou since 2010. In Guangzhou he stays active and busy by playing a lot of volleyball, badminton, indoor surfing, and board games. He loves traveling and have visited over 30 countries. During the occasional free time at home, he likes to play the drums and bass, watch movies, play video games, and cook.

  • He got into teaching later in life; he studied his bachelor’s degree through Swinburne University majoring in his early childhood. He is Australian and has been teaching for over 12 years, 6 years in China teaching English, and 6 years teaching in Australia.
  • He has a true passion for working with our youngest learners!! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that he is honored to accept daily. He strives to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.
  • He has a 2 ½ years old boy that is very active and keeps him on his toes, he loves spending as much time as he can with him. He enjoys sports, both playing and watching. He really enjoys traveling and exploring different countries and immersing himself in their culture.

She has over 7 years of teaching experience as an Australian bilingual teacher and a primary homeroom teacher in one of the four bilingual government schools in NSW.

  • Holds a Master's degree in Education from the Department of Education at New Jersey College and she is honored to join the ISA Liwan family in July 2022. For the past 10 years, she has worked as a Chinese teacher from primary to junior high schools in overseas international schools. She spent seven years at one of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA) examination board school. The students achieved excellent results and most went on to the world's top universities such as Cambridge and Oxford.
  • Has led primary students won the first prize in FOBISIA Chinese Language Competition for three times. She believes that every child is unique, and that even the best teachers must always learn, adjust, and explore to implement what works best for the students.

She is a director of the Southern Alliance for International Chinese Education and has been engaged in teaching Chinese as an international language for 7 years in China, South Korea, the United States and France, and she led her students to win the first and second prizes in the National Chinese and Science Competition in the USA, and the second prize, the best style award in the French Chinese Bridge Competition. She has achieved Outstanding Teacher Awards in USA and France, the Special Honor from the College Board in the USA. She focuses on fostering a growth mindset and wants to share thinking and explore new knowledge with her students in a safe, positive and authentic learning environment.

  • Graduated from the Education University of Hong Kong, majoring in Curriculum, Teaching and Assessment, and obtained the PGDE PYP (Chinese) teaching Certificate from the University of Hong Kong.
  • A registered teacher in Hong Kong. With 6 years of education experience, she has worked in an international school in Hong Kong for 3 years and an IB school in Guangzhou for another 3 years. During my work in the IB School, as the Chinese Homeroom Teacher and Head of the Grade, she participated in the teaching and research of the Chinese Curriculum and the Unit of Inquiry (UOI) course.
  • While working as PYP Grade 6 homeroom teacher, she facilitated Grade 6 students to complete the PYP Graduation Results Exhibition. She has guided and assisted students in participating in the International Chinese Language Festival and achieved excellent results. From 2020 to 2021, she was honored as “Excellent Homeroom Teacher” and “Excellent Teacher" of the school. In 2020, her academic paper on pastoral care for students with special education needs won the second prize.

  • As the Chinese Language Associate Coordinator of ISA Tianhe School, Tricia brings 10 years of education experience to our school. Tricia has been exploring ways to integrate IB concepts with indigenous Chinese local language teaching, develop and integrate school-based teaching materials. She has shared her teaching cases and teaching experiences on many international education forums. She has guided students to many international competitions and won awards.

  • Graduated from the Department of education of Guangzhou University, and currently studying for a master’s degree in education and international Chinese. He is a handcraft enthusiast, origami, embroidery, and sailing ship making are all my favorite. The pursuit of accuracy and perfection in mathematics also has a special impact on his handcraft.
  • In the past 18 years, he has worked in well-known primary and secondary schools in the city. During this period, he also served as a member of teaching and research group and a young pioneer counselor and guided many students to participate in provincial and municipal competitions and obtain excellent results. Later, he served as a Chinese teacher in IB school, guiding students in all subjects. In my career, he firmly believes that cultivating students' mathematical thinking and guiding them to think independently is significant for them to maintain their curiosity about the world and become lifelong learners. Therefore, he tries my best to attract students' attention through different teaching activities, and uses simple and effective methods to explain, so as to make the classroom more attractive.

She has five years of experience in teaching art in IB international schools which includes the National Curriculum for Art subject, IB Curriculum MYP and PYP for Visual arts subjects. She was the visual arts subject head and helped design the visual arts curriculum for the school. Tiffany was awarded the honor of "Outstanding Teacher" for two consecutive years at school level, she has experience teaching students from Grade 1 to Grade 9 and she guided students to participate in art competitions and won awards.
  • As an art teacher,believes that art is a great way for children to experience life and express themselves. In her art classes, she encourages children to practice their artistic language and enhance their creativity through creativity.

  • Graduated from Zhongge School of Arts of Guangdong Ocean University, majoring in choreography. He is a member of the Chinese Children's Song and Dance Society, the China Children's Music Society, the Beijing Dance Association, and one of the first batch of professional Orff certified teachers and family education counselors in China.
  • Has been deeply involved in dance education for more than twelve years. He once served as the Art Director of a well-known International School in Beijing for ten years and has rich experience in leading a team to study and exchange abroad. He has participated in various international art festivals and art conferences, leading students to participate in competitions and won numerous awards. In 2016, he was awarded the title of “Outstanding Teacher" in Shunyi District, Beijing. In 2021, he served as the director of the Youth Palace of an International School in Changsha. His original dance work “Pinch a Big Winter Olympics Doll" won the first prize in the Beijing Primary and Secondary School Art Competition and the first prize of the original group dance of the primary school group of the group program of the 12th Student Art Festival; another original drama “Crossing the River" won the first prize of the group program of the 21st Beijing Student Art Festival.

  • He once represented the Chinese Australian Rules Rugby National Team to participate the competition and reached the top three of the 2017 International Cup.
